Workshops with Children:
Workshops can be a great way to help children to realise that they are not alone with their problem and that other children struggle too. In addition working together supports the development of empathy, social skills and confidence. I organise regular workshops in the Newcastle area, please contact me for details of upcoming events.
I am also able to tailor workshops to deal with specific issues. If you know a group of children who might want to attend together we can discuss their needs and come up with a plan together. So if, for example, your child and their friends are all struggling with anxiety about an upcoming school transition I can work with them together to provide strategies to deal with their worries.
Examples of workshops:
- Exam Stress
- Confidence and Self Esteem
- School Transitions
- Communication Skills
- Friendship Difficulties and Social Skills
Workshops for Parents:
Parenting is tough and when you are struggling you can quickly begin to feel isolated. Bringing together a group of parents to work of the same issue can provide a great source of support and helps to bring things back into perspective. I provide parenting workshops in the Newcastle area so please get in touch to find out about upcoming events.
Again I am able to tailor workshops to address specific challenges so if you have something in mind please get in touch to discuss. If you have a group of like-minded parents in mind then I’m happy to put together bespoke workshop content.
Examples of workshops for parents:
- Understanding your teenage child
- Helping anxious children – a guide for parents
- Supporting Children with Depression
- Stress Management for Busy Parents
